What to expect & How to Prepare
Auditions with the Waco Civic Theatre occur approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the show’s opening date. Audition postings are updated on this page and promoted on social media. Auditionees will sign up for a time using the link provided, prepare a song or monologue according to the audition directions, and submit an audition form to the panel inside the audition room. The director may also ask auditionees to read selections from the script. Either a cast list or a call-back list will be posted both to the website and social media about 24 hours after the final audition is completed.

To Kill a Mockingbird
Waco Civic Theatre is holding auditions for To Kill a Mockingbird – a story that matters now more than ever. We’re looking for actors of all ages and backgrounds (no experience needed!) to bring this urgent, eloquent, and deeply human classic to life. It’s more than a play – it’s a conversation about justice, empathy, and standing firm when it’s hardest. If you’ve got the heart, we’ve got the stage! Step into the story and help us tell it like it’s never been told before.
