The Prince of Egypt
We are excited to announce our summer mainstage musical The Prince of Egypt, a powerful and inspiring production based on the beloved film. This breathtaking musical celebrates a story of faith, freedom, and the strength of the human spirit—and we want YOU to be part of it!
General Info
- Audition Dates: May 18th 7:00-9:30pm, May 19th 5:00-9:30pm, May 20th 6:00-8:00pm
- Location: Waco Civic Theatre
- Rehearsals: 6:30-9:30pm (9pm for children), Monday through Thursdays. Work Calls on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. An extended tech week rehearsal schedule will be provided to cast members.
- Performance Dates: July 18-20 & 25-27
What to Prepare
- Please prepare a 1-minute cut of a song (pop/contemporary, musical theatre, gospel, etc.). Use a karaoke track on your own device or sing a capella.
- Please wear comfortable attire and come ready to move.
- You may be asked to read sides from the script.
- If you are unable to attend auditions in-person, video submissions will be accepted. Please email your vocal audition clip along with your name and phone number to BoxOffice@wacocivictheatre.com by Saturday 5/17 at midnight.
