Theatre Education for Young Artists
IS YOUR STUDENT ACTOR WANTING TO SHARPEN THEIR SKILLS?
All year-round, we offer classes to help our young actors sharpen all of their skills. Classes are skill-based, but have lots of fun themes generated by our master teachers, and even suggestions from students! From Readers Theatre to private vocal lessons to introductory dance classes, we are here to help shape your actor while making sure they have fun the whole way!
UPCOMING CAMPS AND CLASSES
Tuesday After School Class (Kinder-12th grade)
This class is designed for all skill levels. Students will study all aspects of theatre including acting, props, choreography, and more!
Homeschool Musical Theatre Class (1st-12th grade)
TUESDAYS
10am-12pm – Homeschool Musical Theatre (1st-12th grade) – Students will create an original retelling of “A Christmas Carol” featuring all of their favorite holiday songs.
Anne of Green Gables Production Class
Class: Starts November 11th, 6:30pm – 8:30pm Ages: 11 through 18. Rehearsal schedule on rotation. Ask education@wacocivictheatre.com
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Production Class
Class: November 20th – 22nd, Monday – Thursday, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, off for the Holidays. Kinder – 8th Grade.
Frosty the Snowman Class
This is an all day camp from 9am to 5pm, lunch and snacks provided. Class runs Monday, Dec 30th through Friday Jan 3 with performances Jan 3-5. Open to all ages!
Disney's 101 Dalmatians Class
Join our Rising Star Academy class and bring to life the magical story based on the classic animated film, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney’s most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences.
