Rachel Watson longs for a different life. Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated. This gripping mystery/thriller will keep you guessing until the final moment.

Chris is thrilled to be back on the WCT stage. She began acting at age 4 and has subsequently performed on stages in Colorado and Texas. Favorite roles include Anne (“Anne of Green Gables”), the Wicked Witch of the West (“Wizard of Oz”), and Baker’s Wife (“Into the Woods”). Chris gives a shout out to Brett and their three kids for giving her support and endless improv material.

Ethan Trueman (Bill Sikes) received his B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from Baylor University in 2012 and has worked with the Waco theatre community since 2017. Some of his latest stage credits include: Detective Green (Second Chair), Chadd (Escape to Margaritaville), and Barnette Lloyd (Crimes of the Heart).

Jamie is excited to be returning as an at WCT this fall after serving as director for “Ordinary Days!” She was last seen onstage in the 2022 production of Silent Sky. But her work as a costumer has been seen a few times since, including Silent House’s most recent production of Machinal. She wishes to thank her amazing cast and crew for following her on this crazy journey. (John 16:22)

Kami has done many shows at Waco Civic, and is a frequent contributor to Silent House productions. She was most recently seen in Cabaret, but you may have caught her in Hands on a Hardbody, Calendar Girls, or Mamma Mia. She has appeared onstage or cheered from the audience when her daughter and her husband have also appeared on the WCT stage.

Valerie has done so many shows at the Civic, it’s hard to keep count! You may have seen her in The Drowsy Chaperone, Jane Austen’s Emma or in a number of Silent House productions. By day, Valerie teaches theatre at Lake Air Montessori Middle School. Among her varied experiences, she has been a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studios.

Tyler is excited to perform in his eighth show at WCT. Some of his favorite past roles have included Chris Alvarado in Hands on a Hardbody, Eddie in Mamma Mia!, Brick in Escape to Margaritaville, and Kamal Abdic in The Girl on the Train. Tyler works as a sales rep for WPromo, and when he isn’t there or at the theater, he can usually be found watching movies or hanging out with his family. Tyler would like to thank Izzie Weaver and Kelly McGregor for the opportunity and his lovely wife Tori for holding down the fort during rehearsal and shows!

Kristen J McQuade is a Waco native who spent some 10 years of her childhood performing with various organizations in the community including Waco Civic Theatre, Waco Children’s Theatre, and McLennan Community College. In her personal life, Kristen is a Texas Tech graduate, real estate appraiser, avid horse woman, and proud aunt. One of her favorite parts of community theatre are the incredible people she has gotten to meet. She is so excited to be back on stage helping to bring the magic of this story to life.

Mandy has had a love for the arts all her life, and over the past 6 years, has loved working in theatre, specifically in Costume Design. She has been the main Costumer for the Waco Civic Theatre, on such plays as “Steel Magnolias,” “The Drowsy Chapperone,” “Patsy Cline,” “Hank Williams,” “Music Man,” and “Cinderella.” She has also costumed for other local theatre companies. Mandy especially loves working with each cast and crew as she helps her actors to become their characters, an integral part of acting! She is now excited to present this fun twist of costumes in “Oklahoma.” She invites you to sit back and relax, and watch this amazing cast of characters come to life through costume!

Piper graduated with her Bachelor’s in Contemporary and Applied Theatre Studies from Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland in 2022. Since then, she has been an Executive Team Member of Silent House Theatre and the Box Office Manager/Administrator at the Waco Civic Theatre. Piper primarily designs and stage managed. Her most recent shows are Moon Over Buffalo, Cabaret, Machinal, Crimes of the Heart, and Heathers.

Lauren Mikeal Weber has her MFA in Musical Theatre, and MM in Vocal Performance. She spends most of her time teaching voice to theatre students at Baylor University. She also directs/music direct and intimacy directs shows at Baylor and beyond. Recent performing roles include Hannah Chaplin at Water Tower Theatre and Aunt Ellet at the Round Barn Theatre. You may have seen her at Waco Civic as: Patsy in Always Patsy Cline and Fantine in Les Miserables and Marian in Music Man. Special thanks to CJ, Jack and Quin for being so flexible while both their parents undertook these dream roles. Go. Be. Do.

Chaz is the set wizard! He joined the team in spring of 2021 and came on staff the following August. He programs the lights, designs the sets, constructs everything (with the help of volunteers), and is mastering the sound system. His most recent sets include The Light in the Piazza, Outside Mullingar, and Legally Blonde Jr., among many. His favorite show is Something Rotten but his dream role is The Carnival Barker from Assassins.
