Ordinary Days is an original musical for anyone who’s ever struggled to appreciate the simple things in a complex place. With equal doses of humor and poignancy, it celebrates how 8.3 million individual stories combine in unexpected ways to make New York City such a unique and extraordinary home.

Kaleigh Huser is a graduate of Oklahoma City UniversityĆs school of music. She is so excited to be working behind the scenes as Stage Manager for Oliver! This show would not have happened without the talents of Joseph Taylor, Hallie Stone (ASM), and the rest of the Oliver! crew. Recent credits include Stepsister (Grace) in CINDERELLA (WCT), Veronica in HEATHERS, Sonia in GODSPELL, and Marta in COMPANY (Silent House). Love goes out to her Mom (Shay shay from Port A), Nina, and the rest of her theatre fam!

After a small hiatus, Caleb Rinehart has returned to the Waco Civic Theatre stage. Caleb has been attending Temple College for the past year as part of the inaugural class for the new Musical Theatre department. His most notable roles are SpongeBob SquarePants (The SpongeBob Musical), Percy Jackson (The Lightning Thief, a Percy Jackson Musical), Prince Ben (Descendants Jr.), The Boys (WCT’s unofficial boy band, MWSOTY 21-22), and of course himself in Ring of Fire. Caleb is thrilled to be back on his home stage with such a phenomenal cast and hopes you enjoy this less than ordinary show.

Lambert Wheat
Melanie Lambert Wheat has been involved in theatre for over a decade. She studied the art form at a small university in Tennessee and has since been involved in several musicals and dramas. Some of her favorite shows to be part of include The Importance of Being Earnest, Baskerville, and Little Women the Musical. She is an instructor at Yoga8, a locally owned business in Waco, and has enjoyed incorporating yoga techniques into the theatrical world. She dedicates her work, now and forever, to her amazing Dad.

You may have seen Phillip on the WCT stage before but heās found his footing as a director, including Rent, 39 Steps, Native Gardens, multiple cabarets, and next on his docket is The Lightning Thief. His favorite show is The Last Five Years!

Jamie is excited to be returning as an at WCT this fall after serving as director for “Ordinary Days!” She was last seen onstage in the 2022 production of Silent Sky. But her work as a costumer has been seen a few times since, including Silent House’s most recent production of Machinal.
